Parking fee non-payment
The wardens of the Public Company for Ljubljana's Parking Facilities and Marketplaces, originally Javno podjetje ljubljanska parkirišča in tržnice, d.o.o. (hereinafter JP LPT, d.o.o.), check for parking fee payments in the time-limited parking area during working hours.
Insofar as the wardens of JP LPT d.o.o. determine that the parking fee, as in accordance with the Decree on regulation of traffic in the City of Ljubljana - with amendments and additions, has not been paid, they will issue a notice on the unpaid parking fee (hereinafter “notice”) to the user. On the basis of the notice issued, a parking fee of EUR 20.00 must be paid within eight days of receiving the notice.
In the event of non-payment of the parking fee, JP LPT d.o.o. subsequently submits a written proposal for the initiation of a quick misdemeanour procedure against the violator to the Municipal Police Department, which, if the liability for the misdemeanour is proven, may impose a fine of EUR 40.00 on the violator, order the payment of a court fee in the amount of EUR 40, and impose the confiscation of property benefits for the amount of unpaid parking fees in the amount of EUR 20.00, or 100 euros in total.
